Also guests will be visiting without dogs.

We welcome up to 2 small / medium dogs at Susie’s Place and we don’t like having lots of rules and regulations because we know that dogs are very much a part of your family. Susie’s Place is very much our family home in Haworth and in order to keep it looking nice for everyone we would appreciate it if you would respect our wishes whilst you are staying here. Also guests will be visiting without dogs.
Please can we ask you to:
- Dogs are allowed on the furniture and if you do like your dog/s to curl up with you on furniture then please bring and use your own throw if possible.
- Please bring you own dog towel and make sure that your dog is as dry as possible before entering the house and not muddy. There is a towel by the door for emergencies.
- Dogs are allowed upstairs but definitely NOT on the bed, unless you have prior agreement with us and are using your own bedding.
- Dogs are not allowed to be left alone in the cottage unless you have prior agreement with us and this would only be for a ‘one off’ special reason and your dog would have to be crated
- There is a vacuum in the bedroom should you require to use it
- Always clean up after your dog and make sure waste is not put directly into the bin
- Please leave no evidence that your dog has stayed at Susie’s Place, either in the house or garden
- If your dog causes any damage to the house, contents or garden, then you will be liable to pay for the damage caused from your security deposit
- Holiday dog tags are provided if required. If you use these please make sure you leave them on your departure.
- Susie’s Place is enclosed but this dependent on how high you dog can jump. There are metal railings around the balcony with gaps and steps up to it. Please make sure your dog is safe in these areas at all times. The safety of your dog is your responsibility.
- Please respect our neighbours and keep your dog’s barking down to a minimum.
- Please be extra vigilant and make sure your dog doesn’t ‘mark’ any furniture. If this happens please clean immediately to minimise damage
